Remember Black? The film that made everyone believe in films which don’t necessarily have to be an entertainer? A film which had Rani Mukerji and Amitabh Bachchan give their best and walk away with awards and acclaims. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s this gem is unparalleled and we are pretty sure even he was stumped to see his story come alive so efficiently on the big screen. That’s why when we spotted Mr Bachchan on the sets of Rani’s comeback film Hichki, we were psyched. The warmth they share even today is evident from the picture and we feel this needs to be framed.

Bachchan dropped by to wish his Black co-star and Rani gave him the warmest hug. You will fall in love with this picture. Says so much about how the camaraderie between Rani and him has not changed even when there were strong rumours that the actress was supposed to marry Abhishek. That’s what you call being a grown up. Amitabh Bachchan recently shot for a cameo in R Balki’s Padman which stars Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte. The pictures from the sets even went viral which had Akshay hugging Amitabh tightly. This is a scene which will remind you of these actors from Waqt – The Race Against Time. The father-son relationship they portrayed was a tear-jerker. Now it’s a Balki movie so it wasn’t surprising to see AB doing a special appearance here. He and Jaya Bachchan even had a scene in Ki & Ka as well that release last year. He surely is this director’s lucky charm.

Now coming back to Rani and AB’s picture, would like to see them back together in a film, something along the lines of Black? We totally do.
