Vivegam is scheduled to release in August 2017

Vivegam announces the arrival of its teaser on May 11

The countdown begins! That’s what the new poster for Ajith’s upcoming spy thriller Vivegam has promised the fans of Thala. Ajith fans have been haranguing the makers on various social networking sites about when the trailer for the movie will come out. Ajith didn’t have a release yet after his Diwali blockbuster, Vedalam, that has been directed by Siva, who is once again directing the popular Tamil superstar in the upcoming movie. The first poster of Ajith in a bare-bodied pose has already piqued the interest levels of his fans, who were dying to know when the teaser is coming out. There have been reports that the teaser might come out on May 18, but guys, don’t worry.  The wait is now shorter, since it is about to come out in five days that is on May 11.
Director Siva has tweeted about the teaser date as he mentions, “Sai sai with the blessings of the almighty teaser #Vivegam is ready, preponing the teaser release date to 11th may Thursday”. As we have nothing here to discuss the teaser, let’s talk about the new poster that is completely Ajith-centric, showing him in various poses and contexts (while also once again indicating how our cinema is too male hero-worshipping). We have the barebodied Ajith, a close up of Ajith’s salt and pepper handsome look, Ajith’s face looking bloodied in a fight, Ajith on a bike, Ajith in a tight T-shirt and Ajith wearing a bomb protection vest. There is a slogan too, saying ‘Believe in yourself!’ Wonder what’s that about…
Vivegam also marks Vivek Oberoi’s debut in Tamil cinema, as he plays a cool and calculative villain in the movie. Akshara Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal play the female leads in the movie, while Anirudh Ravichander is the music composer for the movie. Vivegam is scheduled to release in August 2017
