The first poster of Aadar Jain and Anya Singh’s Bollywood debut movie Qaidi Band is out and it looks all but intriguing. On the poster, Aadar is seen sitting with a guitar in his hand with Anya sitting next to him. When Yash Raj had launched these two new faces a couple of weeks ago, we saw them in their ultra glamorous avatar. And now, for the poster, Anya and Aadar have gone totally de – glam. The makers have released two back – to – back posters on their social media handles. The poster reads: “Qaidi Band. Music Will Set Them Free.” The film is directed by Habib Faisal, who launched Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra in his 2012 movie Ishaqzaade.
YRF held a special event a couple of weeks ago which had Ranbir and Anushka introduce Anya and Aadar as the new faces to – be launched by Yash Raj. Ranbir revealed that Aadar previously assisted filmmaker Karan Johar during Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. He shared a few anecdotes about working with his cousin on the sets of the film. “I used to ask Aadar to say Aishwarya’s lines while I got ready for my sequences. Anushka introduced Anya and said she can relate with her journey because both of them come from non-filmy families. Anya said she wants to work with actor Ranveer Singh. “When I saw ‘Band Baaja Baarat’, I became his fan. I find him very relatable.” Ranbir, who launched Aadar and Anya at the event recently also said gave a piece of advice to both the newcomers saying, “I want to tell both the kids that the odds are the same. There are no shortcuts, no formulas, there are highs and lows and lots of sacrifices. You’ve to give a lot to be accepted and be honest to your craft. It’s about how you play the game.”
Qaidi Band’s trailer is slated to come out today at 12: 30 pm. The film is scheduled to release on August 25.Article source:bollywoodlife.com
