So, finally the much anticipated GST (Goods and Service Tax) is here and buyers can rejoice the kind of discounts all the cars are attracting post the new tax regime. But the GST tax system also caused a major dip in the sales for the month of June 2017, as buyers stayed away from buying a new car and postponed their purchases during the month of June to avail the GST benefits. This has resulted in a massive downfall in sales during June 2017, when compared to the May 2017 sales as well as the sales from the same period last year in 2016. We have compiled a list of the top 10 cars sold in the month of June 2017.

Another compact hatchback in the list apart from the Maruti Alto is the Renault Kwid, which is sitting on the 9th spot and managed to sell 5439 units in June 2017. When compared to May 2017, it was not in the top 10 list.
