Shraddha Kapoor plays the titular role of Haseena Parkar, sister of dreaded gangster Dawood Ibrahim in the film
Haseena Parkar‘s new poster is out and it sees Shraddha Kapoor as an innocuous wife and a mother of four children. Sitting on her left is Ankur Bhatia, who is playing Ibrahim Parkar in the film. After seeing her as the woman – who means business, in the earlier posters, this one comes as pleasant surprise. She looks homely and an absolute family woman. In the Apoorva Lakhia-directorial, Shraddha plays the titular role of Haseena Parkar, sister of dreaded gangster Dawood Ibrahim, played by her brother Siddhanth Kapoor. The film marks Siddhanth’s debut in Bollywood. This will also be the first time that fans will see the real life siblings in a film together.
The 29-year-old actress took to twitter to share the latest poster –
Haseena Parkar is being considered the toughest role of Shraddha’s career. This might prove to be a game changer for the actress who has often been accused of being a beneficiary of nepotism. She has undergone several physical changes with the help of prosthetics for the film as it shows the complete arch of life of Haseena. Apart from that, she is said to have did her bit of research too, in order to portray the role to the best of her abilities. Shraddha admitted to India Today that she was “scared” when the film first came her way, but is excited to be “playing a grey character” for the first time in her career.Very excited to share the brand new poster of #HASEENAPARKAR releasing #18thAugust ❤ @ApoorvaLakhia @SiddhanthKapoor @AnkBhatia pic.twitter.com/dgmIHQIgL7— Shraddha (@ShraddhaKapoor) July 14, 2017
