Here is why the much talked about marriage is taking place...
Sony TV’s new show Pehredaar Piya Ki is making a lot of noise due to its concept. The first episode saw young prince, Ratan (Affan Khan) crushing over the beautiful and sweet Diya (Tejasswi Prakash Wayagankar). Many have criticised the show while others are wondering why an 18-year-old girl agrees to marry an eight-year-old. Well, it seems that Ratan’s father, Maan Singh (Parmeet Sethi) saved Diya’s life from a wild horse when she was a child. In the process, his hand got permanently damaged. Diya will want to repay his kindness and become a Pehredaar for her Ratan. She will become his caretaker but in form of a wife. We will also see the entry of Abhay (Suyyash Rai) as a suitor for Diya. She will be fond of Abhay but agree to become a Pehredaar for Ratan remembering the kindness of his father. Ratan, who is fond of Diya will also suggest her name and propose to her for marriage. The problem will start when Ratan will forget that she is just a caretaker. It will be shown that Ratan will fall head over heels in love with her and fulfill every responsibility. Will Diya stick with him or leave him as he grows up?
