Yeh Hai Mohabbatein 24 August 2017, Written Update of Full Episode: Shagun and Aaliya get overwhelmed to find out that Mani is alive

Ruhi tells everything about Rani’s visit to Nikhil. Pihu comes running to Ruhi and tells her that Riya is cryinga lot. Ruhi takes the phone and asks her why is she crying. Riya tells her that she is unlucky as her parents do not love her. She tells her that her mother has cancelled her birthday party. Ruhi tries to console her and promises her that she will make her meet her father anyhow. She tells her that her mother must have got something really urgent which is why she had to cancel her birthday party. She tells her that she will throw a birthday party for her. Pihu thanks her and leaves. Ruhi vows to make Riya’s birthday special for her.

Door bell rings. Aadi opens the door and gets shocked to see an injured Param on the door. Simmi asks him how did he get hurt. Param tells them that he has brought someone with him. Aadi gets shocked to see Mani standing outside and goes and hugs him. He brings him inside. Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi), Raman (Karan Patel), Shagun and Aaliya get surprised to see him. Shagun goes and hugs him. Aaliya asks him if he is fine. Everyone welcomes him. Aadi asks him where was he all this while. Raman asks him to let him take some rest first. Raman asks Aadi to go and inform the Iyers about Mani’s return.

Madhu blesses him. Ishita prepares Mani’s favourite food for him and welcomes him to the dinner table. After the dinner, Aaliya asks Mani what had happened and where was he. Mani tells them that that day he was really upset with what Aadi had done to Aaliya and hence he sent divorce papers to him. He tells them that he received Raman’s call after that and decided to meet him. Raman tells him that when he reached at the restaurant, he didn’t find him there. Mani tells him that he realized that he had forgotten his project files at his office and hence he went back to take them. He tells them that he overheard Taneja and his partner’s conversation and got to know that they have been duping Aadi all this while.

Mani tells them that Taneja begged in front of him not to tell anyone about their drug business but he didn’t listen to him. Flashback begins. A few people come in a van and kidnap Mani. When he opens his eyes, he finds himself tied up in a secluded room. Mani gets shocked to see his lookalike – Prakash standing in front of him. Prakash tells Mani that he also got shocked when he saw him with Taneja for the first time. Flashback ends. Mani tells Raman that Taneja didn’t know Prakash but he knew Taneja. He tells them that Prakash used to run a escort business and was on a look out to trap a big businessman. Mani tells them that when Prakash got to know that his face resembles his, he decided to take advantage of it.

Mani tells them that they used to beat him up daily and he escaped from there with a lot of difficulty. He tells them that Param saved him from the goons and brought him back. Shagun and everyone else thank Param. Mani asks them if they got Prakash arrested. They tell them that Taneja murdered him the same day he got kidnapped. Shagun gets emotional to see Mani sleeping calmly. He gets up and asks her to stop crying. He tells them that it was their love that gave him the strength to fight the circumstances. Shagun tells him that his absence made him realize how much she loves him. Shagun tells him what all happened in his absence. Aaliya cries thinking about Mani’s condition. Aadi consoles her.
