While critics have been divided over Toilet Ek Prem Katha, audience is enjoying every bit of the film. While some are loving Akshay Kumar‘s performance, his chemistry with Bhumi Pednekar is making it even more alluring. But there is something that the public is saying which will make the actor really proud. Everyone got the message he was trying to impart in the film.

The video has fans coming out of the theatre looking really happy. That’s a really good sight we must say. Everyone was gushing about what the film is talking about. They are all giving it 5 stars. And guess that’s the reason why the film has opened so well. We told you it saw a 45 percent occupancy at the box office. If it continues the trend in the evening shows as well, the film will go on to make nearly Rs 12-14 crore in the first day itself which is definitely a good thing because it is made at a very concise budget. By now Akshay Kumar has begun to enjoy a similar degree of trust because if you look at the kind of movies he has done, they are critically acclaimed and also commercially successful. He has become a darling not just of the media but also of the audience. Again it’s (Toilet Ek Prem Katha) has a very relevant theme if you see. Open defecation is a problem that bothers the heartland of India like nothing else. It’s a subject that is very relatable. Swachh Bharat is driven by our own Prime Minister. If you add entertainment value to a subject like that, the potential increases.”
