    BARC Report Week 33, 2017:

    Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 takes the top spot in urban areas while Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs is the overall topper

    BARC Report Week 33 (Saturday, 12th August 2017 to Friday, 18th August 2017) is out. Reality shows – Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs, Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 and Dance Plus 3 continued to top the charts. Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya and it’s spin off Kundali Bhagya were the only daily soaps to enter the top five list.

    Top 10 channels (Urban + Rural)
    Zee Anmol surprisingly took the top slot in Hindi GEC this week while Zee TV pushed down all-time toppers Colors and Star Plus to second and third positions, respectively. Sony Pal, Rishtey, SONY SAB, Sony Entertainment Television, Life Ok and STAR Utsav took the subsequent ranks in order.
    Top 5 shows (Urban + Rural)
    Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs (Zee TV) and Fear Factor : Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 (Colors) took the top two spots, yet again this week. Kundali Bhagya (Zee TV) stood strong on number three while Sriti Jha and Shabbir Ahluwalia’s Kumkum Bhagya (Zee TV) jumped back in the top five list. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah (Sony Sab) took the fifth position.
    Top 10 channels (Urban)
    Colors (414753) ousted Star Plus (409961) from the number one position thanks to the mind blowing response to KKK 8. Zee TV, SONY SAB, Sony Entertainment Television, Life Ok, &TV, Sony Pal, Zee Anmol and Rishtey took the rest of the ranks in order. Zee TV (379772) experienced a huge growth in the ratings due to the increase in the viewership of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l champs, Kundali Bhagya and Kumkum Bhagya.
    Top 10 shows (Urban)
    Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 (Colors) replaced Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l champs (Zee TV) from the top spot. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah (Sony Sab) saw huge growth as it jumped to number three position. Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya and Kumkum Bhagya fetched fourth and fifth positions for themselves.
    Colors’s Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Star Plus), Dance Plus 3 (Star Plus), Mahakali: Ant Hi Aarambh Hai (Colors) and Chandrakanta (Colors ) took the next five ranks in order.
    Naamkarann (12th spot), Yeh Hai Mohabbatein (14th spot), Ishqbaaz (18th spot) and Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki (19th spot) failed to enter the top ten list despite of their online popularity.
    Top 10 channels (Rural)
    Zee Anmol, Sony Pal, Rishtey, Zee TV, STAR Utsav, Big Magic, Colors, STAR Plus, Life Ok and SONY SAB took the top ten ranks in order.
    Top 10 shows (Rural)
    Zee Anmol’s Jamai Raja and Kaala Teeka,  Sony Pal’s Baalveer and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and Tashan E Ishq (Zee Anmol) took the top five positions in order. Amul Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs took the sixth spot her while Kundali Bhagya and Kumkum Bhagya grabbed the seventh and eighth ranks. Colors’ Udaan and Kasam appeared on ninth and tenth rank. Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 took the 14th rank in rural areas.
