After being popular as a romantic hero (while also making his Bollywood debut with RGV’s forgettable Agyaat), Nithiin is making his name as an action hero with a romantic side. He is also one of the most bankable actors in the Telugu industry, and that’s what director Hanu Raghavapudi, who previously directed Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha, is looking to utilise in his upcoming movie. LIE, short for Love Intelligence Enmity, is an upcoming romantic thriller starring Nithiin and Megha Akash in the lead, with plenty of scope for action.
The trailer of LIE that had come up some time back, and was launched by trade analyst Taran Adarsh at Hyderabad, starts off on a softer romantic note focussing more on Nithiin (looking quite stylish in that beard) and Megha Akash. Their pairing also looks really good. But then LIE is not just about Love, it is also about Intelligence and Enimity, so suddenly the trailer shifts into action-thriller mode, replete with stylish villains and intelligence officers. There is Ravi Kishan playing an officer. But it’s Arjun Sarja’s negative turn that surprised us. He makes a dashing entry in the trailer, showing off his well-sculpted body in a swimming pool, and later towards the end of the trailer taking off his shirt. It’s amazing that at the age of 54, he has such a fantastic bod, and it is giving the lazy me some real gym goals It’s not that Nithiin doesn’t get to do any action, there is well-choreographed action scene where he is seen killing a villain.
