LI'L Champs celebrate 50 epic episodes with 'A Gentleman', Bhookhamps manage to steal the show after a tough fight!
Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs is indeed the number one show and today’s episode is even more worth the watch just as we get to see why Oh why is this show so loved! The show completes its fifty glorious episodes and how better do they celebrate it than to have a musical war. So yes people it is war indeed -Bhookhamps vs Toofans! Javed Ali is absent today and Aditya Narayan tactfully manages to convince us that he has been kidnapped by some tribals.The war begins with the first performers being Sonakshi Khar and Nandini Gaekwad. Nandini chooses a much more difficult song as compared to the evergreen Sonakshi but we have a clear winner when Sonakshi manages to please the judges more than Nandini. Neha Kakkar though rightly points out that Sonakshi is expected to get a perfect score and so she needs to work more harder. Dhroon Tikkoo and Vaishnav Girish are the next face-offs and both manage to put in a head to head fight with a perfect score. Moving on VG jumps on a scale balance as the entire Bhookamps lot stands on the other side, clearly VG is heavier than all of them put together. Himesh Reshammiya so impressed by the two foodies add an adjective to his list and calls them ‘Magical’. Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez join the show to promote ‘A Gentleman’. Jackie choses to be sided with the Bhookhamps while Siddharth joins the Toofans. Jayes Kumar charms everyone with Pal Pal Dil ke Paas.
Sidharth is left spellbound by the clarity in the little ones singing at such a small age. Bhoothu promotion is squeezed in as our little Jayes seems a little too taken aback by the idea of a bhooth sharing the stage with him. Jackie is requested to share the stage with papas and she does. The papas dance away to all glory while Jackie as usual is her sensuous best. Bidipta and Riya come in next “Radha” and Chitiya kalaiyya” respectively and end up in a tie. Sidharth says he is happy with tie as he himself cannot choose if he has to between them. Shreyan steals the show as he surprises Himesh with one of his best performances till date , well maybe it is because he has been pitted against the soulful Anjali who does not fail to live up to her own standards and yet again takes away a standing ovation. Jackie points out that at her age Anjali proves to be an inspiration-well the little one is indeed going down in history. Jackie makes Aditya really hopefull when she tries flirting with him and that too in french. Aditya jumps at the cue and goes on to salsa but Sid breaks his dreams by translating the french and turns out to be Jackie called him foolish. VG nad SMP go in next but VG manages to steal the show though this surprises Sid a bit as he seemed thoroughly impressed by SMP’s performance. Sid goes on to rap with Jayes as he has in his film. Aftaab and Yumna come in last and seems to be the tie breaker but Yumna manages to sail ahead with a rocking performance. Bhookhamps win the game for the day. The epic performers for the week are three -VG, Shreyan and Anjali! Sid and Jackie go off after a disco with the kids on Disco Disco from their film.
