Saif Ali Khan is not bothered about the fact that Salman Khan is replacing him in the third film of the hit Race franchise. He revealed at the trailer launch of his upcoming film Chef, that has been aware about the franchise’s future since last year. According to him, producer Ramesh Taurani had kept him privy of the news that he wants to reboot Racewith a new star cast and a new story. Saif added that “Who better than Salman?” for Race 3, today at the event. Now, while Salman fans are rejoicing that their favourite superstar has bagged a film that matches his grandeur. Saif fans are disappointed with the actor’s exit. You can totally find the fans of these two actors clashing with each other in the comments section of BollywoodLife.
So, far the development on Race 3 is that Salman will play the male lead and Remo D’Souza will direct it, replacing Abbas-Mustan. Saif has not been approached for the film. So, definitely Saif fans are not happy.
Also, don’t forget that Race 3 will feature Salman in a character with grey shades. All the characters in the Race franchise are negative or borderline dark. We hope Salman is no exception as it will be exciting to see him in such a role. But that is our thought. Is the fandom of Salman ready to be receptive of this avatar?
